Jesus and the Samaritan Woman: 

“Jesus answered and said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.’”

In the summer, we collect bottled water from members of the congregation and distribute it on hot days to people we see on the street.  Whether they are homeless, kids playing in a park, or simply someone taking a walk, everyone can appreciate the blessing of a cool drink of water on a hot day.
