We donate furniture to those who have been homeless or have lost their home through a disaster such as a fire. The furniture comes from members of our congregation or friends of the congregation who appreciate this unique opportunity to help the community. We accept gently used beds, couches, kitchen tables and chairs. We do not accept appliances or electronics or baby furniture or carseats. Those we donate to are carefully screened by our partners in this venture, Madera Love, Inc., to determine their need. We have been developing this ministry for the last six years and are grateful for the opportunity to have seen the joy on the faces of children, single mothers and those affected by disaster when we are able to help them.
